BLOCKDOWN Party @Home, Saturday 25 April 2020

In place of the postponed Block Party, we invite you to join the inaugural BLOCKDOWN Party!

Saturday 25th April 2020, 10AM-???* (BST)

*We intend this to be an all-day drop in event you can dip into/out of at your leisure.

Presented from homes around the world, it’s the first Block Party to be conducted exclusively online.

We’ll be convening on the Teletext Discord server to create teletext together using edit-tf, the ZXNet editor, MUTTLEE (see below) and other programs.

Click here or the pic for the Block Party server/web portal.

You can start making stuff now! Don’t forget the art competition. At least some of the event will be streamed live on YouTube, where we hope to go through the art entries Tony Hart-style.

MUTTLEE is a Multi User Teletext Live Edit Environment by Peter Kwan. Multiple editors can work on a page simultaneously and remotely. This means that even if you live in Antarctica, you can edit (as long as there is a good wifi connection).

Anything else?

We encourage you to use the #TeletextBlockParty hashtag on social media.

More info will be added here. In the meantime, tweet to @illarterate if you have any questions.
