TeletextRtists feature in ‘Glitch’ exhibition opening today

A new exhibition featuring teletext art opens in Wigan today. Curated by MA Fine Art student Chel Logan, The Aesthetics of Failure showcases a variety of multimedia artworks responding to the theme of ‘glitch’.

Among the pieces on display at the Old Courts Isherwood Gallery is an installation by ‘the Teletextrtists’. This teletext miniservice features the talents of prominent text mode artists Paul Rose, Steve Horsley, Raquel Meyers, ‘Carlos’ Attrill, Dan Farrimond, Jellica, Peter Kwan, Beeblepete, Jason Robertson, Polyducks and Andy Jenkinson.

The exhibition runs from Friday 21 April to Sunday 30 April 2017, with a Public View/Closing Party on the evening of Friday 28 April (7-9pm).
