This December, Carlos will be hosting a multimedia event projecting teletext pages onto Jaywick Martello Tower.
Dubbed the ‘Last [Ever] Teletext Show (2023)’, the project invites artists to submit teletext artworks relating to events from 2023.
These could range from any subject in the news to sports events or pretty much anything else regarding the year 2023. It can be political if you like, but Carl reserves to right to reject anything too crass.
Carl is asking for PNG images, but if you want to send a teletext file/web editor link that’s fine too – it can be converted for you.
Portions of the event will be livestreamed via shown on YouTube. Further information about this, along with specific dates for the event, will follow.
