There is netlore. There is Faxlore. So can there be teletextlore?
In this episode of the Byte High No Limit Podcast, Carl and Dan discuss what might constitute “teletextlore” – a type of folklore incorporating urban legends, stories and artworks that surround the medium of teletext.
The idea for this discussion is borrowed from the Netlore Podcast, who published an episode on Faxlore in April 2023. There is a rich and storied history of material shared via facsimile, which the author thinks should be much more well-known… so pass it on, pass it on!

This episode is taken from the Teletext Sofa Club livestream, 12th May 2023.
