Valentine’s Day / Day of Friends Exhibition on Yle Teletext (14th-28th February 2026)

Fidyan Genial - Heart Hand Sign

Valentine’s greetings and Hyvää ystävänpäivää to all friends of Teksti-TV!

As of today, the teletext community is celebrating its Second Great Valentine’s Collaboration with Finnish powerhouses Yle Text, the first being in 2022. Following an open call for submissions, we present a new and diverse collection of sixel greetings from the (teletext) heart.

The artworks can be viewed via the Valentine’s index on Yle Teletext page 820. But as usual, you don’t need access to Yle’s friendly teletext service to enjoy the Ystävänpäivä exhibition, as there is a web version available worldwide.

Art will remain on-air for a couple of weeks, after which it will be gone forever! I’m sure we’ll archive it for you Valentine’s lovebirds.
