A talented all-round textmode artist, Olsson’s installations and digital design were at once witty and charming. His cheery teletext collaborations will be fondly remembered.
A prolific ANSI designer, Bym crossed over into teletext to host a workshop based on the Swedish royal wedding in 2010. He followed this up with a handful of spectacular entries for the inaugural International Teletext Art Festival in 2012 (see below).
“BYM has elaborated a pixel art style which takes inspiration from the act of painting and retro computer gaming. His motifs consists mostly of improvised miniature sceneries.” — ITAF Website
