Teletext art on show at FixC 07-24, Poriginal Gallery & Yle Text

The FixC Co-operative are currently displaying pieces from the Museum of Teletext Art as part a new exhibition in south-west Finland.

The name ’07-24′ alludes to the length of time FixC has been in operation up to the commencement of this exhibition at the Poriginal Gallery in Pori.

For those who wish to visit, 07-24 opened on Friday 20th September and will run until Tuesday 8th October.

This will be the final time artworks from the VILKE Collection will be shown, but the intention is for the Museum of Teletext Art to continue long after (hopefully into the 22nd and 23rd centuries –Ed.).

MUTA Artists: LIA, Karin Ferrari, Jarkko Räsänen, Seppo Renvall, Kari Yli-Annala, Erkka Nissinen, Paula Lehtonen, ÜBERMORGEN, Ryo Ikeshiro, Raquel Meyers, Kathrin Günter, Dragan Espenschied, Ian Gouldstone, Juha van Ingen, Max Capacity, Emilie Gervais, Karin Andersen, Bakketun & Norum, Dan Farrimond, Maria Lavman Vetö, Mad as Hell and Max Haarich.

New teletext works on Yle!

In addition, the Museum of Teletext Art is presently exhibiting new works from six teletext artists on Finland’s Yle Teletext, starting on pages 803, 805 and 806.
