The Museum of Teletext Art will be showing a selection of my artworks on Yle Teletext as part of their MUTA SOLO series.
Featuring a sampling of pieces from 2012 to the present day, this exhibition will be presented in four parts, beginning on 1st January 2025 and refreshing with more art on the 1st of February, March and April.
I will be the first teletext artist featured in this, the Museum of Teletext Art‘s new solo exhibition series organised by Finnish artist co-operative FixC.
I wanted to include artworks going back to 2008, but for the time being at least, everything prior to 2012 exists only in JPEG graphic form. I suppose that classifies those original teletext data files as lost media, but perhaps they are somewhere buried deep in my floppy disk archive…
Part 1 runs throughout January and features work from early International Teletext Art Festivals, the Teletext40 project and a page from the cult video game Selfie: Sisters of the Amniotic Lens.
